You will come in to assemble your DIY Sport in-store at 38 Main Street, Hamburg, New York 14075, during our assembly weekend November 6-8, 2026.

Please note: NO RSVP is needed to make your pen, but we recommended you pre-order to secure your favorite nib size as supplies are limited. If you pre-order your nib size, it will be set aside for you to DIY between the dates of availability.

We are ready to take off with the new Kaweco Do It Yourself pen for 2026: DIY Sport Glow - a glow in the dark fountain pen, you can assemble.

Charge the translucent green pen up with either natural or UV light to see it from its best side – as the shining eye-catcher in your pencil case, bag, or cozied up under the blanket! The silver elements emphasize the cool character of the otherworldly colour.

Make your own Kaweco

Seven components – the Kaweco Sport fountain pen is made of high-quality plastic and consists of many individual parts. Unlike fully automated machine parks, these writing instruments are assembled by hand every day in Nuremberg. The DIY Sport Glow fountain pen is available exclusively in stationery retail stores as a DIY product and cannot be purchased online.

Take on our role with the Kaweco DIY Sport and assemble your own personal fountain pen. The fountain pen will be available exclusively in stationary retail as a do it yourself product and can’t be purchased online.

For an even more personal touch, equip your DIY Sport with your desired nib size, ranging from extra fine (EF) to extra broad (BB). All nibs are produced in Germany. The writing instrument comes ready to use with a royal blue ink cartridge.
